Under the umbrella of the precedent initiative (the Best Climate Practices observatory), five editions of the Award have been organized involving over 180 projects from Europe, Asia, Africa, America, and Oceania, and a community of over 14000 users. Past editions of the Award covered the themes: “Building local resilience to climate disaster risk” in 2017, “Expanding access to climate financing” in 2016, “Climate Change and Water Availability for Food Production” in 2015, “Energy Poverty Alleviation” in 2014, and “Urban Resilience” in 2013.
