The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) in collaboration with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) have developed the e-tutorial “International Aviation: Intro to States' Action Plans to reduce CO2”. The launching of the tool has taken place during the Green Airports seminar held in Montreal, Canada, between 29 and 30 November 2017.

Action Plans support the improvement of energy efficiency and therefore help reduce CO2 emissions contributing to the global environmental aspirational goals states have in the context of the Agenda 2030.
